What an experience that must have been! I can imagine how you feel. I had
a similar experience a few years ago auditioning for Terrance McNally for
the Broadway production of Masterclass. Not that I made it as far as you
did into the rounds, but making McNally laugh at his own dialogue is a
memory I'll have for the rest of my life. Small consolation that the woman
who got the part (Audra McDonald) got a Tony for it!!!
