I agree with that. I think, most singers can't "connect" with what they're singing. Many are going on right now where there's just no FEELING in their voice and songs. They can't connest in such a way that they let the listeners know they really DO feel and know what they're singing. I think in a case where a singer can't relate with their song, and they make it seem like whatever the "subject" of the song is, come across like they wrote the book on it, that makes a truly amazing singer AND interpreter, to me.
