AS I told you one or two days ago, I suffer from rhinitis and I'm in a
critical period these days. The last time I was this bad ( I'm all
mucus...aaargghhh!!! ) my doctor put me on Ebastel ( from ebastine ). It got
better, but then it started not having any effect anymore, and here it is
again.
I've decided to do an experiment: homeopathy and phytotherapy. I consulted
with a specialist and he put me on these two 'medications'( it's supposed to
work for sinusitis too ):
Berberis Hydrastis Composto: Argentum nitricum D20/ Belladonna D6/Berberis
D2/ Hydratis D4/ Silicea D20- 2 drops in water to be taken twice a day: when
awake and before going to bed.
Soluffa: physiological solution of Luffa operculata: two drops in each
nostril along with the 'medication' above.
According to him, I'll start feeling the results on the first day.
Concerning my two operations ( septum deviation and those 'dams' we have in
each nostril, which are burned by an electrical device by the doctor... I
knew the name in English, but now I can't remember. It's 'corneto' in
Portuguese ), he said I should have never agreed to do them and that, if you
ask 10 doctors about that, I'll get 11 different opinions. Well, I saw 4
doctors and had 5 opinions, so I think he should have said 12,5 in 10 :-)
For the sake of those who are considering surgery, I'll be posting my
reactions daily here. I must add that i don't believe in homeopathy and have
lost all my faith in my nose :-), so placebo effect here is out of question.
