I don't have anything organized to refer you to, and what I have access to is in Portuguese, but what I can say from the top of my mind is:
It's never been proved that its biodiversity is as vast as people say it is and it consumes practically all oxygen it generates. Also, according to Isaias Raw, a respected Brazilian scientist, it's completely normal that some species disappear, and that will happen without men's interference. There's no indication that its biodiversity loss, if it actually happens, is due to human action.
Also, as in taught to anyone who takes classes biology classes in high school. 90% or more of all breathable air comes from the sea. But 'they' want to make us believe otherwise.
BTW, take a look at this: http://www.polyconomics.com/searchbase/10-31-00.html It's both about that and American ellections.

I don't know the exact reasons for the creation of US preserves, and I can't either refer you to anything written in English about the Ianomami ( except for that discussion last week, when a respected anthropologist accused other of his metier of testing new drugs on them ), but that tribe has never, ever existed. It's a bunch of 4 tribes gathered and placed in an extremely rich region, who are supported by NGO's and have been trading with international corporations. They're hundreds only and occupy a gigantic region. What for? And that region is near our borderline. And the US has a big eye on Colombia ( and Venezuela ). And an American consortium controls Sivam, a project by our government that controls air traffic in the region through satellites! Only extremely uninformed people can think the US is really concerned about drugs in its own territory. Clinton loves cigars, btw! :-)
