Again, I am going to be extreme, here, but harm to the voice is
*technically* bad, but can potentially serve a higher *musical* purpose.

Is it Eddie Veder that performs "I'm a liar"? He uses screaming
judiciously to get across an extremely potent message in that song. Some
people's voices can handle a little abuse. Bad technique is not inherently
evil!
