Wow, this sounds a lot like me when I force my speaking voice up! I can't
help but wonder if your "full chest" is analogous to the voice men use to
sing tenor. If so, texts are misleading because much of the lower voice is
called the mixed low voice, when it is actually simply a lower extension
of the high voice...
