The Three Tenors were futbol (soccer) athletes in their day... ...the World Cup Tournament of 1990 in Italy gave genesis to the The Three Tenor's Tour.
Michael Bolton is an avid softball player & teams up with many other talents to compete (at a level to win...not just to have fun) in major league baseball parks.
Many aren't old enough to remember Roosevelt "Rosie" Greer former defensive lineman of the famed Fearsome Foursome of the NFL Los Angeles Rams. Yes, they used to have a pro football team in L.A. Rosie Greer sang pop tunes & gospel classics in the 60's & 70's.
John McEnroe - tennis bad boy - is a rock-n-roller from Long Island.
And living in Chicago - who could ever forget that notorious choral(?) ensemble in 1985 of the Chicago Bears' rendition of The Super Bowl Shuffle...not necessarily singing, but they had to maintain a rhythm, know their cues & move at the same time!
And of course - I don't want to overlook all those singing cowboys... ...horseback riding requires athletic skills!
