Dave, take a look at the Kanarienvogel Kantate. It's a funeral cantata for a
canary. It's great fun and also has some really nice music. I've performed it
twice. It's not difficult to put together and it has audience appeal.
Fischer-Dieskau recorded it on an LP along with the Bach Hunt cantata, IIRC. I
believe it's available on an EMI CD but I'm not entirely sure. If you need more
