I'm just wondering if clavicular (sp) breathing has
something to do with this. This is also known as
last gasp breathing and although it is not generally
recommended for singing I stand behind groups of
ladies in the chorus who do it in unison. :)
I've also seen Bjoerling use it.
Now that WAS interesting.
To try and get the feeling across take a great gasping
breath raising the shoulders and dropping the jaw.
