One of the oddest recordings that I have is of Cleo Laine doing Ives songs
and Pierrot Lunaire. The Ives songs work rather well in her voice. After
probably 20 years of owning this recording, my jury is still out on Pierrot.
It's definitely interesting.

Are you sure you mean Shirley Bassey and not Cleo Laine?

Cleo is the best! We met her years ago in Cleveland and she was just as
friendly and genuine as you might imagine from hearing her singing. She
is one of the only celebs I have ever wanted to meet!
