Indeed somehow I let my eyes jump over your post and I apologize. Thanks very much for the suggestion. I'll start thinking about it immediately and will start to put it into tonight's practice.
I have on occasion tried to do scales with a consonant at the start of each phrase, and sometimes have sung each and every note with a consonant. My onsets during scales are relaxed and on breath, with or without consonants, although I have to concentrate more with the consonants.
It's during songs that I tense up.
