Dear co-vocalisters,
Just to keep you informed: I found out who Ms. Karnéus agent is, wrote her an email, and got an answer which you can find at the end of this email. I will contact the persons she mentioned in her mail and will keep you informed.
(That is to say, if I have not unsubscribed by then, because after having deleted the 21 (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, indeed, as many as my exclamation marks) emails Caio send yesterday, I really start to doubt that this list will ever return to the quality it had some time ago.)
Dear Mr Dre de Mann,
At the beginning of year 2000, I was suffering a bad cold, and was advised by the Opera house in Paris to contact Dr. XXXX (Name X-ed by Dré for reasons of privacy) He was so surprised when he saw my vocal chords, and explained that he hadn't seen asymmetrical vocal chords in 10 years. He also explained that they were quite common in impersonators. This was all new to me, but kind of made sense, since I have always been able to imitate different sounds and have always found languages easy to
imitate as well. I would have to leave it up to you to find out further information from him with regards to what effect this has on my vocal range, but would like to point out that I have studied with the same vocal teacher since I was 19
years old and that she has a lot to do with the technical side of things.
XXXX tel. nr. XXXX (throat specialist) XXXX tel. nr. XXXX (singing teacher)
All best wishes
Katarina Karneus
Best greetings,
Dré
