For the Sunday after Christmas last year, I set the words of the poem "The Blessed Virgin's Lullaby" on the melody of Peter Warlock's "Rest, Sweet Nymphs". The poem scans perfectly on that melody, the key is ideal for the voice you describe (it was too high for me to sing comfortably, but isn't extremely high). The song itself was one Warlock also arranged for boy's choir, so it would be just right for a treble or a more chorally-oriented or early-music voiced soprano. I'd be happy to fax a copy to you, if you're interested. Just email me with a fax number, and I'll send it out to you tomorrow. Oh yes- it is VERY easy to learn; one of those melodies that rather sings itself.
