Dear Peggy, Christine, and Laura, Thanks so much for this clue and link to the Bernstein website. There I found the citation for this quote on the message board. The quote, according to the message, was from a speech in tribute to JFK on 11/25/63 and found in Bernstein's book, "Findings". Thanks, everyone, for helping to track this down. Phyllis
