as far as i know, falsetto is the result of a particular usage of the vocal folds in conjunction with air pressure. i can't see how the potential for producing falsetto would be lost unless the mechanical structure of the folds is changed. unless the change in the guage of the vocal folds makes it now impossible to do what has been done before, what about puberty would wipe out the ability or, that 'knowledge? the hormonal stimulation for new interests?
