If it's just the passagework, you'll work on that with your teacher, and it will be good for you to work on it, even if it doesn't come out as good as you'd like. In my own case, ease in coloratura has come with improvement in my overall technique.
What most sopranos find challenging about the role, however, and the reason it's a soprano-killer, is the extremes of the role. In other words, the soprano has to have great low notes AND great high notes. It's rare that a singer as young as yourself can do both well. I think what's most difficult technically, and potentially damaging to a voice if not done well, is singing both low and high with proper technique, and not letting the low chesty tones influence the technique on the high floaty head-voice tones. That, you'll have to work on a lot with your teacher. Practicing, I'd recommend finding the best way to sing the highs and the lows, and practice moving from one to the other so that the proper quality is achieved. Easier said than done!!
