the main problem with d'adamo's book is the recommendations.
he claims type A came as a result of a move to an agrarian society yet, he recommends against whole wheat for this blood type. that's sheer nonsense! did he think king arthur was making bleached white flour back then?
also, type O is the blood type of the hunter-gatherer. there is no comparison between the meat you could hunt and the meat you can buy.
by d'adamo's logic, he almost proves some of the macro-biotic crowd's claim of being able to change blood type through diet.
there is a lot of conflicting information about diet and optimum health. i have no idea which one is right. (i personally am a vegan simply because i can't justify eating animals. as i feed my cat roast beef, i can't claim the moral high ground.) i do know that eating right is no substitute for good technique.
