Whenever I see the words "realistic expectation" I sort of shudder.

A realistic expectation is whatever we want to make it. Those who are
leaders and trend setters in this world disregard the "realistic
expectations" of both themselves and of others, and simply go for it.

Was it a "realistic expectation" for a patent clerk to come up with the
theory of relativity?

Was it a "realistic expectation" for Lindbergh to cross the Atlantic in the
Spirit of St Louis, or for Amelia to conquer the air as a woman?

My point being, whatever your dream (if it is truly a dream) - go for it, and
don't be held back by others or your own "realistic expectations" for you.

Give it everything. The worst that can happen is that you will fail - BUT,
the only folks who fail are those who try. The only way to avoid failure is
to only do those things for which you have a "realistic expectation" which
translate to "guaranteed in advance," as I see it.
