When I was a kid I listened to quite a bit of choral music sung by children's choirs, because I had a couple of recordings given to me. Good conductors of children's choirs normally aim for the headvoice sound, and I believe it is also hard to "imitate" any one voice in this - b/c there are so many people singing! The music on these tapes ranged from unison art songs and folk songs, to more complex ones that involved harmony.
