in several operas and musical theatre productions. She currently performs as a soprano and has appeared
in various solo recitals throughout the U.S.
Bethany has taught voice since 1996 and teaches a variety of vocal styles. Her students have continued
their music studies at various colleges and universities, establishing themselves nationally and
internationally as professional musicians. Bethany is a member of the National Association of Teachers of
Singing, Music Teachers National Association, Ohio Music Teachers Association, International Alliance for
Women in Music, American Musicological Society, Popular Culture Association, and Society for American
Music.
