A true Monarch among guitars, the J-250 acoustic is one of the most dazzling instruments ever built by Gibson (or anybody else). The artisans at Gibson took the iconic crown inlays of the J-200 fretboard and headstock and made them even more regal and realistic looking to represent the class and rich heritage of the Monarch. Both have extremely intricate inlay patterns that are executed with incredible precision containing multiple inlays within inlays of mother-of-pearl and Paua abolone.

Visually stunning, acoustically amazing, the Gibson Hummingbird has always stood out. The first Gibson Hummingbirds were created in 1960. The body shape unique: Gibson called it a Square Shoulder design. Gibson s design goal was easy on paper, but not easy to do that is, to create a guitar specifically designed for vocal accompaniment, a guitar with a voice all its own but yet a voice to complement the human voice, not overpower it.
