I've always heard Ricordi for Italian (especially Puccini), Peters for German (especially lieder), Barenreiter for Mozart, Dover for cheap full scores for comparing with the vocal score, and Schirmer only if you don't have a choice.
I'd get the 4-act version, since the 5-act version is hardly ever done... in my opinion, you'll get more mileage out of the 4-act version in the long run.
Everything's going to have a typo or two... slip into a music library to go over your part with an orchestral score in hand, to make sure all the notes/markings are the same. Dover might have one, but I'm not sure.
