Hello friends,
One of our members wrote me yesterday wondering why she hadn't gotten much mail. Maybe it's just vacation time, but I found out there is a nasty computer virus going around in the form of mail with a large attachment. The mail may look like it comes from someone you would know, and the main message says in Spanish or English "Hi, how are you? I send this for your advice. See you later!" or something like that. The subject can be anything, the virus uses the address box of the infected and also uses real folder names, so it looks real, but don't open the attachment. This isn't heresay, the National Labs have sent out warnings to the mail users. I've already gotten 6 of these messages - fortunately the first one was in Spanish (not my best language!) and I didn't know the sender, so I ditched it. The others had the same text in English so I was suspicious.
Stay safe! Candace
