Hello List,
Many thanks to everyone who kindly replied with repertoire suggestions for voice and organ - I'm looking forward to checking some of them out. Doris, I had thought of doing some of the Bach Passion stuff - I'll do 'Erbarme dich' anywhere, anytime - but I think of it as orchestral, rather than organ, and I was hoping to find material that would show off the instrument, as well as (hopefully) me. But I may well still do it anyway.
Also thanks to people who commented on the SSSLLLOOOWWW download of sound clips from my website. Dre, I had already saved your posting about Cdex, and plan to use it. You asked if there was a problem with Demon; I think there might be, I think it has certainly got slower. I've just switched to a cable broadband system - ah, the luxury of permanent internet access - the website will be moving house soon, and I'll change the soundclips then.
Shannon, thank you so much for your patience and kind words - I'm glad you enjoyed 'Sad is that woman's lot' (the note is only a Bb, but it probably sounds higher when I attempt it!)
Thanks again to everyone,
Regards,
Sheila
