if you think the songs you sampled are weird, you should try his
translation of a jacques brel song called 'next', refering to standing in
line at the 'army whore house'.
he sounds more prey-like on songs like 'bridge' and the really slow,
haunted (as opposed to haunting) numbers.
when i first heard him, i couldn't take it but, he grew on me. but, i
really can't explain why i like him.
