Hello, Naomi!
Throw away your dictionary and get a new one! ;-) In fact, "Blaukraut" is
another word for "Rotkohl" and that means "red cabbage". Does that mean we
Germans are colorblind? "Red, blue, whatever, who cares about all those
colors anyway?"
So, now that your thirst for knowledge has been quenched, you truly
understand that tongue twisters don't necessarily have to make sense as long
as they get the job - twisting your tongue - done! Wedding gown stays
wedding gown and red cabbage stays red cabbage. Sounds a bit like Gertrude
Stein, doesn't it?
Cheers, Jan
