Well, there are several issues here. First of all, Roger Love does not talk
about vowel modification much at all in his book and that does need to be
taken into consideration for the registers to blend. SLS a la Riggs speaks
extensively of modifying vowels. Secondly, you are a low baritone. The
ability to vocalize to a certain note (to visit it per se) does not mean you
want to live there, and some of the songs you mention live there.
