Yvonne-

Another series is the G. Schirmer books compiled by Joan Boytim, published by
Hal Leonard. I believe there are 5 books ranging from simple songs (Easy Songs
for the Beginning Baritone/Bass, #50483759) to more demanding material. I have
the second book of solos and CD (#50483792) which includes selections from
Schubert's Winterreise, Purcell, Handel, Mendelsohn, Chausson, Faure and many
others - about 30 songs in all. There is a CD of the piano accompaniments for
each book. The copy I have has selections in English, German, Italian and
French. Most songs in non-English languages also include English
translations. I don't recall where I found it, but a web search will locate
some sources.
