You're the WWJD (what would Julie Do?) person too, aren't you? I was the
only girl on my Chicago city block who spoke fluent Julie Andrews from
infancy. And hands off Dick van Dyke, baby - he's mine!

Seriously though, it's a crying shame that there are no similar role models
for kids these days. I am a music specialist for an early childhood program
and when I bring in things like Sound of Music, they eat it all up, but when
I ask them what kind of music they like, even at 3 and 4 years old, they ask
for Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears. One asked for Charlie Pride which
is, in my estimation, a huge step up.

The times, they are a-changin'.
