In the 'Silver Aria' from The Ballad of Baby Doe, for the record, the last
high D is actually a high C#......and yes...it's a challenging one at that!
And I agree with Karen...the final aria "Always through the changing..." is
quite powerful and NOT easy to sing (or perform for that matter...esp. if
you have a dead man in your lap) !
