I really doubt it would be the virus. Of course, after New Year, there have been a lot of viruses sent out via internet and emails. However, non of those viruses that really activates or are real is called "A Virtual Card for You". They are "HAPPY99.exe," "BILL_GATES.jpg.tif" and others. The way to notice if they are a virus or not is so simple, you'll just have to see if there is a message or not. I got both viruses under my friends' names, but neither of the messages said anything at all. The messages had only the attachments, and that's all.
Usually, the other way I check is who the recipients are. Those messages will most of the time contain "undisclosed-recipients", just like this one that I reply to. Whenever I see that, I know it's just a hoax. So simply, isn't it?
