Yes, yes, yes I have sung What is Man, and meant to reply earlier to the
Purcell song request by saying that this is certainly among one of my most
favourite of his songs!!! There is much word painting in this song, and it
is very dramatic in nature. Yes there are Alleluja's, but no, i never felt
it takes to long to get there... although in total, the song is just over 5
minutes. The Alleluja's are graceful and rejoicing in nature! I'd say this
one is a must learn.
