I agree completely with Mike. I've sung Ned Rorem
material. It is definitely unique and lots of fun to
sing. His stuff is a little on the weird side, but
you can weed out what is too dark. I'm including a
set of Rorem pieces in my junior recital......."My
Papa's Waltz", "O You Whom I Often and Silently Come",
and "Memory". All three wonderful little poetic gems.
