Lee, you and other fans of the Beatles' music might be interested in a book by the NY Times classical music critic, Alan Kozinn, about that very subject. A very interesting book, and entertaining to read, also. I bought it in paperback a couple of years back at Borders, and I assume it's available on Amazon.com or someplace similar.
