It looks as if I've landed another "Opera Night" gig at Aldo's Restaurant,
Los Gatos, CA this Saturday (12/16). But there's a BIG caveat. Due to a
combination of short notice, Christmas music season and repetitive stress
injuries (Get well soon, Pat!), I will be working with an accompanist that
runs on batteries. On Monday, I purchased three books-with-CDs of various
Italian songs and arias and Mozart and other nice stuff. (I love TIS!)
I'll probably have to work with the CDs, as my nice big boombox tends to
chew up cassette tapes.
May God have mercy on my soul.
Anyway, I'm supposed to go there tomorrow night to scope out the new place
and meet with the owner. I'll have more details then.
