Indeed, although I wouldn't presume a causal relationship. ; ) Anne Sexton was a poet and quite a troubled woman. If you're interested in preparing and don't yet have access to the score, I recommend reading her poetry -- start maybe with "The Awful Rowing toward God," or the Furies poems. She was an incredible communicator.
