No, I've got one coming up as well, and I'll be singing the alto part. Nobody wants to hear me sing the soprano solos, believe me!

I'm preparing for a recital that I will give in North Carolina in January. They asked me to really mix up the repertoire between genres and to give them some "accessible" things too, so they're getting some Bach arias, some Brahms songs, a Mozart concert aria, a Poulenc song cycle, and some Bernstein arias, with a Bolcom encore.
I'm also having fun researching rep for a duo-recital my sweetie (Verdi baritone) and I will be doing in New York in May. We're still in the process of narrowing down the finalists, but there will be a set each of Handel, Brahms, French songs, Italian opera arias, and a silly cycle by Liza Lehmann, with a Saint-Saens bolero for an encore.
I'm also learning about writing grant applications, to find funds for a few pet projects I would like to see take place.
That's what's keeping me out of trouble at the moment.
