Don't worry, I've come full circle. From once naive, through to jaded and resentful (which seems to be the state you are in now), back to 'hopefully' naive. there's nothing 'good' about being bitter and not giving people the benefit of the doubt. I prefer to give pavarotti the benefit of the doubt. That's not naive, it's hopeful. If you don't understand that, then wait, live and then you will understand it later.
I'm aware of large corporations using charity falsely for their tax purposes, but i don't think you are aware of the person (pav) who has everything- if you have all the money you will ever need, your true disposition will emerge, and you will either help, or satisfy yourself- there's no point in pretending. In other words, you won't do anything for the money, because you don't need it. Pav has hinted at this 'state' in his interviews. He has said- all he wants to do is sing, and help other singers emerge. Why would you keep singing at 63 if you had tonnes of money? To be disgraced? I think not.
And trust me, I don't see the world through rose coloured glasses, I wish I did.
