Dear Listers,
It is my opinion that SARCASM has no place in a
serious international list other than in contributions that are
clearly headed HUMOR or HUMOUR.
Sarcasm is misleading simply because it is so
obtuse. How can anyone be sure that the writer really means
the opposite of what is written.

Sarcasm = Ironically scornful language.
Irony = Using language of a different or opposite tendency.

It's not for nothing that sarcasm is known as the lowest form
of wit, and wit, in this case does not translate as humor.
