I have to address this. I am a former OB nurse. The bikini cut is simply
the direction of the incision on your skin. They don't "cut" the abdominal
muscles. These muscles are striated vertically, and they simply separate
them to get to the uterus. If these striated muscles were "cut" you wouldn't
be able to sit or stand I imagine. Most people think that the muscles are
cut and therefore weakened-which frankly I let my husband believe because he
then shut up about my pot belly.
