Oh, finally someone said it!! It's sure you will be lying, since you're not positive actually! There's only one way for you to feel positive, which is by feeling positive! But, then, you won't need affirmations, will you? :-) I think a better way to deal with it is trying some of those fast therapies, like RET. They will work on false beliefs, probably work with you on stage and work on it there while there's nobody around. Then, maybe ( I'm guessing ) invite your friends only, and work on it gradually.
