Just to clarify about Charlotte Church and her
fabulous wobbling jaw (Ha! Ha!)

She had that even at the start when all of this hype
with Sony etc started. On an English documentary, her
teacher was interviewed, and there was Charlotte
having a lesson, and yes, you've guessed it, the jaw
was wobbling away.

I find it absolutely extraordinary that this teacher,
and her subsequent one with Sony has done nothing
about it. And, to say don't worry! Well, they would
say that 'coz a quick buck is being made and the poor
girl is on the scrap heap soon, you mark my words.
Although I wouldn't call her voice astounding, I would
disagree with other listers who call it unexceptional.
Most 12 year olds to my mind don't sound like that.
Having said that, why do these idiot coaches she's
got, make her sound like a clapped out 45 year old?
It's quite beyond me and very distressing.
Interesting in the Julie Andrews parallel. The
difference though is that Miss Andrews had an
excellent teacher in Lilian Styles Allen who certainly
would not have let Miss Church get away with her
oddities!

Just a comment which had to come off the chest! Not
sure why?

Best wishes,

ps. Actually, Charlotte is not a bad little actress.
Maybe she should do a bit more of that and give her
poor voice a wee rest?
