Show tunes are often performed in a cabaret setting. And there are so many
great, manly ones to choose from. Operetta could work as well, or songs like
Autumn Leaves or September Song are always well received. If you want to be
politically controversial, try out some selections from the Tom Lehrer Song
book. They're still outrageously funny!
