Well, I just recently became an adjudicator for the Wisconsin School Music Assn and in my training, I was told to write more. I even did a day of judging under a mentor and my only criticism was to write more. My mentor did seem to pay a lot of attention to people while they were singing and write on a notepad and then take time between singers to put his notes on the sheet ... it's hard because I just want to give them encouragement throughout the whole process.
