Subject:  Doctorate Programs....Long Distance Learning...What to do???

Dear Vocalisters,

I am thoroughly enjoying my first year of teaching at the college level.  I have taught for 9 years at the middle and high school level, and this is a joyous change of pace.  My school is requiring me to get my doctorate.  Unfortunately, the closest school to Marshall, Texas that has a DMA program is a good 4-41/2 hours away.  Does anyone know of a program in Texas, Louisiana, (somewhere close to east Texas) that doesn't mind a fair amount of electronic correspondence?  I would really like to get my doctorate (and keep my job!), but all that driving with a job, and a family sounds like too much.

Anyone have any ideas?  Anyone in a similar situation, that can give me suggestions??

Thanks for your thoughts,
