I'm not so sure! As I said on that post, Baxter's theory ( I don't have his book. It belonged to my previous teacher ) seems to lead to SLS-like assumptions, but then he swerves from the supposed course and shows that chart on how to push head voice higher and higher ( which is an SLS anathema based on reasons Baxter himself seems to agree with ). If you have his book, take at look at that chart. It called my attention as soon as I read that. Also, I don't know, and neither does my present teacher, how would Steve Tyler produce those distorted high pitches without raising his larynx, an anathema for both SLS and Baxter, his teacher??
Conclusion: ????????????
