We seem to be forgetting about the ever enduring & consumate performer,
Barry Manilow, who seems to be turning into our generation's Mel
Torme/Frank Sinatra & used to be The Divine Ms. M's pianist in the old
days b-4 "Mandy" (not one of his best but I don't believe that he wrote
it either). He is at least partially responsible for the renewed interest
in "standards" & swing music & his voice has only improved with age.

Another singer that amazes us & still sounds the same after 30+ years is
Jon Anderson of "Yes".
