That's the first time I've heard anyone say Pavarotti has a smaller voice than
Domingo.
I've heard both in person (not at the same time, I should add), and I don't
think so. If
anything, Pavarotti's voice is the larger. He does have a more lyric vocal
quality than
Domingo. Domingo has the darker voice of the two, and some folks (though not
me) accuse
him of being a baritone.
