Subject:  Re: [vocalist-temporary] Fainting on a high B? (smarta** answer)

I read a study ( or what will soon be) on this topic recently. The theory
compares fainting singers with a syndrome experienced by soldiers on the
front line who faint( I forget what this condition is called) . It was
concluded many years ago that the soldiers faint because they experience
decreased oxygen due to staying in a tight position with their knees locked
for long periods of time.

Has anyone heard about any of this?
