Subject:  ATTN: All NATS adjudicators

Hi All,
I have NATS competition this weekend and I know
there have got to be some NATS members on the List.
What do you look for in a good audition? Last year I
hadn't specifically prepared songs for NATS and I just
picked from the repertoire I had for the my
competition pieces. This year I am prepared and have
had my songs learned for a while. Competition is this
weekend, so I obviously won't make any great changes
in what I have planned, but what do any NATS members
think I could do to fine tune? Are you looking mostly
at vocal technique, diction, emotional connectedness
with the song? What is the one thing you especially
like to see in an auditioner?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Trevor
